A .6mm FLOBERT (22 (SHORT CB) SINGLE-SHOT GALLERY-RIFLE, UNSIGNED, MODEL 'FLOBERT', serial no. 7712, Belgian circa 1900, with black powder proved blued heavy octagonal 27 1/2in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'H.J. BREMER IN ZWOLLE', engraved scale to the raised fore-sight block with adjustable fore-sight and flared side protectors, dove-tailed adjustable rear-sight, exposed central hammer forming the breech-block, flip-back manual extractor, plain colour-hardened top-tang, chequered walnut half-stock with raised cheek-piece, Swiss heel-plate, complex trigger-guard bow with integral palm-rest, chequered plain trigger, the whole retaining a fair amount of its original finish, weight 9lb. 8oz.
